Archiving Policy

Al-‘Arabiyya: Journal of Arabic Language, Literature, and Pedagogy supports the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content. Authors are encouraged to deposit the pre-print (pre-peer review) and post-print (accepted manuscript) versions of their articles in institutional repositories or on personal websites immediately upon acceptance, with proper acknowledgment of the original publication in this journal.

In addition, the journal utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to ensure the permanent preservation and accessibility of all published content. Where applicable, the journal also supports archiving through distributed preservation systems such as LOCKSS/CLOCKSS.

The final published version (version of record) of articles may also be archived in repositories or personal websites, provided that proper citation and acknowledgment of the original publication in this journal are clearly stated.
