Author Guidelines
General Instructions:
- The article is an original work, free from any plagiarism, and less than 20% checked by Turnitin.
- The article has not been published and has not been accepted in any other journals.
- The article is typed in Ms. Word with 2 spaces, using quarto paper (A4), the font is Times New Roman size 12 and the margins are set to 3 cm on the right, left, top, and bottom.
- The article is formatted using a single column layout.
- The article is written in English following the standard guidelines.
- The article must be accepted by all co-authors and relevant authorities.
- The article does not surpass 5,000 words, including references except the tables, figures, and appendix.

Systematic Writing
Title
- The title should be forthright and informative, as well as specific and impactful.
- The title should not exceed 20 words and abridgments are not allowed in the title.
- Theauthor'sname,withoutanacademicdegree,shouldbeaccompaniedbytheirThisincludesthename,department,faculty,institution,city,country, and email.
Abstract
- The abstract is written in English.
- The abstract comprises of 150-300 words that define the purpose, summarize the methods used, highlight the main results, and does not include any references.
- Keywords are written in English, consisting of 3-5 terms, listed in alphabetical order, and separated by semicolons (;) for author template.
- Please avoid using terms that are too broad and complicated.
Introduction
- Background of the study. In order to strengthen the background of the study or activity, authors are required to include empirical backgrounds and conceptual frameworks or backgrounds that are developed based on reviews of relevant previous studies which have been published no later than five years.
- Provide a brief overview of the relevant literature, clearly state the original contribution of the research, and outline the research.
- The review should address the real issues, challenges, or needs that are relevant to the community in relation to the research.
- Authors must explain and justify how the community is involved in and interacts with the program and activities of community.
Methods
- The method used to address problems, challenges, or issues should be described, along with how it fulfills the research.
- This includes the data collection methods, such as how the sample was selected, and the validity and reliability of the data collection.
- The data analysis approach should also be outlined.
- Details about the location, time, and duration of the activities must be provided.
- Authors are expected to explain the context or situation prior to implementing the programs or activities and to state the anticipated outcomes.
Result and Discussion
- Results should be clearly presented with an explanation, without citing any literature. All original and significant findings must be explicitly mentioned. When needed, results should be supported by numbers or tables, but these should be used sparingly. Detailed interpretation, speculation, and analysis of data should not appear in the results section; instead, they should be included in the discussion.
- Authors are required to focus on analyzing the condition before and after the implementation of community engagement programs or activities.
- The discussion should explain the findings from the results in the context of existing knowledge. It should also introduce a new perspective. Each assumption made must be clearly stated.
- The analysis should be completed with a further discussion on the involvement of the community and the benefits that the community gains. It would be beneficial if the authors also include information about how the community adopts innovations.
- All tables, figures, photos, and graphs included in this manuscript must be properly cited and connected with the analysis and/or explained in terms of the irrelevance or importance in relation to the community engagement programs and activities. All visual elements should be directly related to the study.
Conclusion
- Summarize the key points from the discussion.
- Highlight the effects and advantages of community empowerment initiatives.
- Offer recommendations for enhancing community empowerment.
- Present new insights, theories, formulas, principles, methods, models, or prototypes that are backed by research findings.
Acknowledgment
- The acknowledgment list includes individuals who helped during community empowerment activities.
- A Declaration of Conflict of Interest should be clearly stated if you(or your company or sponsor) have a financial, commercial, legal, or professional connection with another organization or individuals associated with them, which may have influenced your research. If the funding came from grants provided by universities, colleges, or other research institutions, you must mention the name of the institution or organization that gave the funds.
- If there are no funders from a university, college, or other research institution, please include the following sentence: This study did not receive specific grants from funding agencies in the public sector, commercial, or non-profit.
References
- References are written based on APA(American Psychological Association) 7th Edition formatting guidelines.
- References are organized in alphabetical order based on the authors' last names.
- Only sources that have been directly cited in the text should be included in the reference list.
- It is essential to verify the accuracy and completeness of all references, as the author is accountable for this.
- Whenever possible, the full URL for each reference has been included.
- The number of references should be between 10 and 40, with a strong preference for 70% journal articles and 30% books. Journal articles should be from the last five years.
- Authors are encouraged to use a reference management tool like Zotero, Endnote, RefWorks, Reference Manager, or Mendeley to create and organize their reference list.
